Chairman of Sahrudaya Health, Medical and Educational Trust, Sahrudaya trust was founded by Dr. Alla Gopala krishna Gokhale with a view to educate people especially younger generation on how to prevent heart diseases and to render service to poor people crippled with heart,lung and vascular diseases with a mission to promote a healthy heart in everybody for a healthy society.

Founder Secretary of Heart Failure Society, India:Dr Gokhale was the Founder Secretary to Heart Failure Society, India. He established  the society as a national body to create awareness and knowledge about heart failure, its prevention, diagnosis and better management and promote research amongst medical, paramedical and allied professionals and general public and also to facilitate establishment of infrastructure in achievement of this objective.
