Under the leadership of the Best Heart Transplant Surgeon in both states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Dr Gokhale and his team have performed First Heart Transplantation Surgery in Andhra Pradesh in Guntur Government Hospital under PPP mode. It becomes the first of its kind in India for free heart transplantation in a Government hospital.

A heart transplant surgery was carried out @ GGH where a heart was transplanted from a brain dead person (truck driver named Immabathuni Yedukondalu) to car driver Uppu Yedukondalu. It was quite surprising to look at the coincidence of their similar surnames and similar professions who haven’t met but fate has knotted them. Immabathuni Yedukondalu organs have given new lives to three more people at three different hospitals.

Organ Donation is a commitment of help towards your life even after your death. One organ can save up to 7 to 8 lives. Donate organs and save one’s life.
